Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our mobile phone retail and repair store. The successful candidate will lead the store team, ensure a high level of customer service, manage inventory and repair workflow, and drive sales performance while ensuring the store runs efficiently and profitably.

Store Operations & Staff Management

  • Manage all day-to-day store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and stock management.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards of the retail space and repair stations.

Customer Service & Sales

  • Deliver outstanding service to customers by understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Maximise sales of mobile phones, accessories, and repair services through upselling and product knowledge.
  • Ensure aftersales service is prompt and professional.

Technical & Repair Oversight

  • Oversee the intake and delivery of devices for repair, ensuring accurate diagnostics and quality control.
  • Liaise with in-house or external technicians to track repair turnaround times and update customers.
  • Monitor service standards, warranties, and repair logs.

Inventory & Supplier Management

  • Monitor stock levels of mobile phones, accessories, and spare parts.
  • Place orders with suppliers, manage deliveries, and reconcile inventory
  • Maintain product displays, price updates, and ensure security of high-value items.

Financial & Performance Monitoring

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and reporting.
  • Handle petty cash, till reconciliation, and ensure banking procedures are followed.
  • Assist in budgeting and implementing strategies to control costs and boost profit margins.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a retail manager or supervisor, preferably in mobile phones or electronics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of mobile phone sales, accessories, and repair service workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of current mobile phone models, trends, and repair standards is desirable.
